Ian Blakely, Chief Financial Officer

Ian Blakely brings 15 years of experience in finance and private equity to the team, with the last nine years spent in the power and energy industry.

Prior to joining Enchanted Rock, Mr. Blakely was a director at Bregal Energy, a private equity firm exclusively focused on power generation and natural gas investments.   While at Bregal Energy, he made growth investments ranging between $5 million and $200 million in development and technology companies. Mr. Blakely has served as a director on the boards of 9 companies, guiding teams through many strategic growth opportunities.  He has led and evaluated investments in the thermal power generation, wind energy and solar energy spaces.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Blakely served as a private equity associate at J.P. Morgan Partners and an analyst in the Global Consumer Products Group at Morgan Stanley.  Over the course of his career, he has worked on over $30 billion of transactions including investments, acquisitions, divestitures, equity financings and debt financings.

Mr. Blakely received a Masters in Business Administration from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University.
